The Cloud Application and Platform (CAP) Group from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is seeking 1 motivated Research Fellow in the topic of "Digital Twin for Advanced Battery Analytics".

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop physics-based and data-driven models to characterize battery electrochemical processes;
• Design and implement algorithms for predicting electrical data at various nodes in the power system;
• Build a simulation platform for emergency scenarios with predictive maintenance features;
• Supervise junior graduate students;
• Write technical reports, including papers, patents and technical disclosures;
• Work closely with team members and engineers to assist in developing new features;
• Ensure the responsiveness of applications;
• Diagnose issues and resolve them on demand.

Job Requirements:

• PhD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information System or a related discipline;
• Strong research record, preferably with publications in top-tier computer science or engineering conferences;
• Proficiency in Python and relevant packages, such as NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch or TensorFlow;
• Excellent verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities;
• Attention to detail;
• Fluency in spoken and written English as required for research work
