The Centre for Research and Development in Learning at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (CRADLE@NTU) seeks applicants with a Masters degree in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from University of good standing for a Research Assistant Position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise and work closely with stakeholders from external institutions (including schools) to identify and project collaborators
• Conduct literature reviews and preparing policy reports for stakeholders
• Preparation and updating of ethics documents to institutional review boards
• Data collection using psychological and neuroimaging techniques, such as cognitive testing, MRI and fNIRS
• Perform research-related administrative work, e.g. purchase of material/equipment for research
• To manage data analysis pipelines under supervision of research fellow and PI
• Systems administration, including maintenance of network servers and data security
• To carry any other duties as required by Principal Investigator

Job Requirements:

• PhD/Masters in Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or related field from University of good standing
• Possess excellent communication skills with good command of the English language to perform literature reviews and write progress reports
• Self-motivator, able to work independently to collect data, analyse data, and communicate findings
• Proficient in statistical analysis (SPSS or R) and experience with neuroimaging software
• Willing to travel to school sites for data collection
• Excellent organizational skills and able to work within tight deadlines
• Self-directed learner who effectively picks up relevant skills as needed
• Prior experience with cognitive neuroscience research
• Prior experience in neuroimaging research
• Prior experience with academic publication processes
• Good knowledge of cognitive neuroscience theories and models of for higher cognitive functions
