Responsibilities:
Requirements:
- To do treatment planning for external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy.
- To discuss clinical cases with the consultant on treatment plans and techniques.
- To perform output measurements, calibrations and quality assurance on relevant machine related to radiotherapy equipment periodically
- To review daily QA procedure performed by Radiation Therapist
- To supervise the radiation therapists to ensure that they perform their duties in accordance to the standards required of them and that they observe the radiation safety rules.
- Assist in ensuring the PMIs of the radiotherapy equipment are done as per schedule and all test reports of equipment maintenance are reviewed
- Assist in frontline troubleshooting for all therapy related machines and service engineer coordination
- Assist in the MOH and NEA regulatory compliance, and department quality/safety projects
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Masters/Degree in Medical Physics (Radiation Therapy) or equivalent
