Job Scope
Job Requirements:
- Experienced in Precious Metals and Bullion Settlement transactions, settlements, and audit requirements (Swaps / Physical / Forwards settlements)
- Instructing and collaborating with product engineering teams to implement, test and launch new initiatives.
- Perform full-spectrum accounting functions, including month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations, GST submissions, stock-takes, and preparation of financial statements, budgets, and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance and timely reporting, adhering to accounting standards, statutory requirements, and company policies,with accurate financial and management reports submitted according to schedule.
- Manage and close the accounting books of related companies and support ad hoc assignments and new projects as required.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- Candidates will only be shortlisted if they were part of Gold bullion companies or bullion bank with a minimum of 4 -5 years experience.
- Professional certification such as CPA or ACCAis preferred.
- Strong understanding of MFRS, IFRS and IAS.
- Proficiency in understanding and application ofrelevant accounting standards for hedging transactions accounting in forex, precious metals, commodities or other derivatives contracts.
- Possess good organisational, administrativeskills and time-management abilities.
