- Pioneer and lead research or research-translation efforts in AI robotics, multi-robot coordination, and path planning.
- Drive industrial-focused robotics innovations aligned to automation needs.
- Research, design, and implement advanced robotics algorithms and systems using ROS/ROS2.
- Work with AI, ML, multi-agent systems, and simulation frameworks to build and evaluate solutions.
- Architect and build proof-of-concept software using C++, Python, and ROS libraries.
- Apply systems engineering methods to convert research concepts into system requirements, architectures, and validation approaches.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure feasibility, robustness, and industrial applicability.
- Produce high-quality technical papers, reports, and presentations to communicate research and translation outcomes.
Requirements
- PhD in Robotics, Software/Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- 1-3 years of relevant industry or research experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Hands-on experience with ROS 2 and its ecosystem.
- Deep experience in software engineering and SDLC practices.
- Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
- Strong grounding in robotics concepts:
- - Manipulation, navigation, fleet coordination, or simulation.
- Demonstrated ability to translate research into real-world prototypes or applications.
- Proven experience in:
- (a) AI / machine learning for robotics
- (b) Multi-robot coordination
- (c) Path planning algorithms
