Responsibilities

• Pioneer and lead research or research-translation efforts in AI robotics, multi-robot coordination, and path planning.
• Drive industrial-focused robotics innovations aligned to automation needs.
• Research, design, and implement advanced robotics algorithms and systems using ROS/ROS2.
• Work with AI, ML, multi-agent systems, and simulation frameworks to build and evaluate solutions.
• Architect and build proof-of-concept software using C++, Python, and ROS libraries.
• Apply systems engineering methods to convert research concepts into system requirements, architectures, and validation approaches.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure feasibility, robustness, and industrial applicability.
• Produce high-quality technical papers, reports, and presentations to communicate research and translation outcomes.

Requirements

• PhD in Robotics, Software/Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 1-3 years of relevant industry or research experience.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS 2 and its ecosystem.
• Deep experience in software engineering and SDLC practices.
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows.
• Strong grounding in robotics concepts:
• - Manipulation, navigation, fleet coordination, or simulation.
• Demonstrated ability to translate research into real-world prototypes or applications.
• Proven experience in:
• (a) AI / machine learning for robotics
• (b) Multi-robot coordination
• (c) Path planning algorithms
