About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of advanced Communication Systems for military and commercial applications.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and in full compliance with contractual and technical requirements. You will work closely with experienced team members to deliver cutting-edge communication technologies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution to ensure timely delivery within budget and contractual scope.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Interpret contracts and extract key technical and commercial requirements for effective project management.
• Identify and manage system design requirements, reviews, and deliverables.
• Oversee procurement planning, cost optimisation, and risk management strategies.
• Coordinate day-to-day project activities, including stakeholder liaison and resource supervision.
• Conduct internal and external design reviews with customers and stakeholders.
• Provide regular project status reports to management and customers.
• Monitor payment milestones to ensure timely invoicing and revenue recognition.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules.
• Support pre-sales and solution teams in cost and effort estimation during tender phases.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7-8 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience in InfoComm Technology; exposure to Maritime Communication Systems is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, accounting, and reporting tools.
• Comfortable working in shipyard and shipboard environments.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Willing to travel when required.
