Our client is a well-known cross-border trading group engaged in international trade and import-export activities. They seek an Accounts & Finance Manager to lead financial operations and drive strategic financial management across the group.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure and manage credit lines, trade finance, and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Lead end-to-end accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and accurate financial reporting for the group of companies
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions to deliver actionable insights supporting executive decision-making
• Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and tax requirements by coordinating with auditors, consultants, and relevant authorities
• Prepare and present Management Information System (MIS) reports, financial statements, and management dashboards to senior leadership
• Guide, mentor, and manage the accounts team to optimize operational efficiency and foster professional development
• Drive continuous process improvements, implement best practices, and strengthen internal controls across finance and accounting functions

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CA Inter qualification (preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in finance, treasury, and accounting functions
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, trade finance, and compliance frameworks
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, Tally, or advanced Excel
• Excellent communication, analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, demonstrate resourcefulness, and manage multiple stakeholders effectively

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• CA/CPA/ACCA qualification (preferred)
• Prior experience in import-export operations
• Exposure to cross-border transactions

Other Information

• Work week: Monday to Friday
• Work timing: 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Salary: Up to SGD 7,000 (open for discussions)
• Work location : Tg. Pagar
