We are seeking a Japanese Principal to lead our Japanese language and cultural programme for preschool children and to oversee daily centre operations. The Principal will create and maintain a warm, inclusive and safe environment where children, families and staff feel welcomed and supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the Japanese language and cultural programme, including planning age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Develop, implement and review the Japanese curriculum and academic/term schedule in line with the centre's educational philosophy and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee centre operations, including staffing, rosters and daily work schedules to ensure smooth delivery of programmes and care.
• Provide leadership, coaching and performance support to educators and staff; foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding children's learning, wellbeing, centre updates, and any required documentation.
• Plan and coordinate centre events, enrichment activities and holiday programmes.
• Establish, maintain and review centre procedures, protocols and records to meet ECDA requirements and internal policies.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned to support the centre's operations.
