Job Summary

Lead and execute comprehensive project management activities in engineering, piping, and fabrication to drive timely delivery, cost control, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve site issues and ensure quality and safety excellence.

Responsibilities

• Review contract documents, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate project execution
• Conduct site measurements and oversee execution activities to meet project requirements
• Prepare detailed quotations, project execution plans, work schedules, and resource allocation to optimize project delivery
• Coordinate piping, fabrication, machining, valve repair, and on-site works to maintain workflow efficiency
• Monitor and ensure achievement of project milestones within established timelines
• Prepare project budgets and cost estimations to support financial planning and control
• Track material usage and labor costs to optimize resource utilization and project profitability
• Participate in site meetings and progress review meetings to communicate project status and address challenges
• Manage variation orders and lead contract negotiations to align project scope and costs
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO, and client standards to uphold quality and regulatory requirements
• Supervise welding procedures including WPS, PQR, and WQT to maintain welding quality standards
• Coordinate non-destructive testing (NDT), hydro testing, and inspections to verify project integrity
• Ensure proper documentation handover including QA/QC documents for project closeout
• Enforce safety procedures on-site and conduct toolbox meetings to promote a safe working environment
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
• Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, welders, and machinists to achieve project objectives
• Identify and mitigate project risks, both technical and operational, to prevent delays and cost overruns
• Proactively resolve site issues to maintain project continuity and quality standards

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• WSQ/WSH Safety certification
• Knowledge of ASME, API, and ISO standards
• Proficiency in reading P&ID and GA drawings
• Competence in welding procedures (WPS, PQR, WQT)
• Basic understanding of CNC machining
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, and AutoCAD software

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in engineering, piping, and fabrication industries
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Marine, or Power Plant projects
• Knowledge of piping and structural fabrication
