Accounts Executive (Finance)

Role Overview

We are seeking an Accounts Executive (Finance) to support day-to-day finance and accounting operations within a fast-paced, regulated business environment. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely processing, and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and payment processing
• Prepare and maintain accurate accounting records, schedules, and reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Assist in preparing management reports, financial statements, and variance analyses
• Coordinate with internal teams on billing accuracy, intercompany charges, and expense allocations
• Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Assist with process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls within the finance function

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 2-5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience
• Prior experience in insurance, brokerage, financial services, or professional services is an advantage
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and financial controls
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
