Job Summary
Lead the development and enforcement of comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment across construction sites. Drive safety audits, training, accident investigations, and regulatory liaison to support continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Lead the development and enforcement of comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment across construction sites. Drive safety audits, training, accident investigations, and regulatory liaison to support continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the Company's safety policies and procedures to align with regulatory standards and operational needs
- Guide and support site teams to execute health and safety plans effectively, ensuring compliance and risk reduction
- Conduct thorough health and safety audits on construction sites to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions
- Design and deliver periodic health and safety training programs to enhance site personnel's awareness and capabilities
- Maintain accurate health and safety statistics and records to monitor performance and inform decision-making
- Liaise with Government Agencies to manage health and safety compliance, including factory permit applications and statutory requirements
- Investigate all site accidents, analyze root causes, and recommend preventive health and safety measures to avoid recurrence
- Collaborate with Senior Project Manager and Project Manager to address all site safety matters and integrate safety into project management
- Ensure effective implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health Safety management program across sites
- Plan and conduct safety awareness programs to foster a proactive safety culture
- Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of staff to promote safety engagement and compliance
- Demonstrate hands-on attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement as a collaborative team player
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Certificate in Design for Safety Appreciation Course
- Certificate as Environmental Control Officer for Specified Construction Sites
- Certificate in Developing Risk Management Implementation Plan
- Certificate in WSQ Manage Workplace Safety and Health in Construction Sites
- Certificate in WSQ Manage Work At Height
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Familiarity with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
