Sales Manager

We are seeking a Sales Manager who will be responsible forOutside Sales, handling Singapore customers under the Flow Controls BusinessUnit. In this role, you will develop and execute strategies that grow our valvebusiness, deepen customer relationships, and strengthen Emerson's marketpresence in Singapore.
In this Role, YourResponsibilities Will Be:
• Works independently to assigned EPC / OEMaccounts on project pursuit to grow the valve business in Singapore.
• Provide sales forecast and achieve/exceedorders targets set for the Business Unit's business in Singapore.
• Tap on prospects, analyze requirements todevelop winning strategies and negotiate to win the business profitably.
• Maintain excellent account management skillsand build strong relationships with external customers and internal serviceteam.
• Co-ordinate with sales support team togenerate quotes for order processing, project team, documentation includingpost-sales service with the Service team and various departments within theorganization.
• Work closely with Business Unit Marketing teamto plan and implement promotional seminars. In addition, to provide feedbackand market input to Industry and Marketing Team.
• Collaborate with sales from other businessunits in multi-division project pursuits.

• Good communication/interpersonal skills andstrong negotiation skills.
• Good in analytical and questioning skillscoupled with ability to develop and implement strategies.
Preferred Qualifications ThatSet You Apart:
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical,Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation) with 3 to 5 years ofsales experience in the process control industry
• Knowledge and sales experience in controlvalves and / or regulating valves will be advantageous
• Good communication/interpersonal skills andstrong negotiation skills
• Good in analytical and questioning skillscoupled with ability to develop and implement strategies
