The Centre Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail mall, ensuring efficient facility management, smooth tenant operations, and an exceptional visitor experience.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily operations of the mall, including facility management, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and smooth mall operations.
  • Monitor and manage operating expenses, maintain budgets, and ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Prepare periodic performance reports for management.

Facilities & Services Oversight
  • Manage and maintain M&E systems, security systems, housekeeping, landscaping, and other facility services.
  • Plan and implement preventive maintenance works and oversee repair/rectification activities.
  • Attend site inspections, supervise contractors,and ensure maintenance, renovation, or improvement works meet specifications.
  • Monitor service provider performance and ensure compliance with agreed service levels, schedules, and quality standards

Tenant & Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Coordinate with tenants on handover/takeover, reinstatement, fit-out, and renovation works, ensuring compliance with building regulations and specifications.
  • Attend to tenant feedback, maintaining positive landlord-tenant relationships.
  • Support tenant and operational needs, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordination asset improvement works, A&A projects, and defect rectification.
  • Collaborate with Marketing colleagues for onsite logistics need to execute mall promotions, events, and campaigns.
  • Ensure safety, security, and emergency response protocols are implemented and maintained.

Marketing Oversight:
  • Act as the on-site brand steward to ensure all corporate-initiated marketing materials within the property are properly displayed
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure marketing installations remain in good condition and are aligned with the property and brand standards
  • Provide on-the-ground operational feedback to 8M in a timely manner on any issues from deployed marketing campaigns or events such as wear and tear, unauthorised marketing materials, and any issues potentially impacting safety

Other Responsibilities:
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by immediate supervisor or management.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Property Management, Facilities Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Facilities Management or Operations Management, preferably with a strong background in mall management.
