Manager, Corporate Secretarial ( Japanese Speaking)

(a) Corporate Secretarial Services
• \tProvide Corporate Secretarial Services of Singapore companies and Offshore companies such as Cayman, BVI etc as follows to our clients.
• \tIncorporation of local private companies, registration of branch office of foreign companies, and registration of business with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority Singapore (ACRA).
• \tRegistration of Representative Offices with International Enterprise (IE) Singapore.
• \tPreparation of Memorandum and Articles of Association (M & AA), various resolutions, lodgements of various documents/forms with ACRA.
• \tPreparation of applications of various business licenses and their submission to various government departments.
• \tWriting of short reports with regards to the requirements to obtain business licenses with relevance to the client's business activities.
• \tLiaisons with the clients as well as various government departments including various banks.
• \tIssue invoices to clients.
• \tTo serve as named company secretary.
• \tReview fee and propose fee increase where appropriate.
• \tOther related Company Secretarial Services' assignments.
(b) Staff Management
• \tPlanning and organizing service team(s).
• \tLeading and guiding team members.
• \tAttending management meetings on an ad-hoc and regular basis.
• \tSetting Team Goal.
• \tOthers related staff's management.
(c) Other Adhoc services
• \tLegalisation of documents at various embassy such as Japan, Philippines, Vietnam etc.
• \tDrafting of documents for promissory notes, tenancy agreements, waiver letters, extension letters, power of attorney, deed of assignments, addendums, supplemental agreements, convertible bond etc.
(d) Client relationship management
• \tServe as the primary point of contact for Japanese-speaking clients, providing excellent customer service and responding to their inquiries promptly
• \tCollaborate with different internal teams (eg: Commercial Accounting, Treasury etc) to obtain information for Japanese clients/ HQ
• \tProvide translation and interpretation from Japanese to English, and vice versa for the team
• \tBuild and maintain relationships with current/ potential Japanese clients
• \tIdentify opportunities for business growth, including upselling and cross-selling financial services to clients
Requirements:
• \tBachelor's degree in law or Equivalent
• \tCandidate must be proficient in English & Japanese (JLPT N1, written and spoken) to liaise with and to provide consultation to Japanese speaking clients stationed in Japan and Japan HQ
• \tMinimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• \tPractical work experience in a corporate legal department, law firm, judicial scrivener office, or accounting/tax firm, etc.
• \tExperience in the Professional Services industry and/or client-facing roles would be an added advantage
• \tAble to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• \tSelf-motivated and serious work attitude.
• \tStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on client relationship building.
• \tA good team player.
