- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a furniture/renovation carpenter supervisor with good carpentry skills.
- Able to take site measurements independently.
- Measuring, marking, and cutting materials (wood, drywall, metal) to required dimensions.
- Building frameworks for structures, including floor joists, wall studs, roof rafters, and stairs.
- Installing doors, windows, cabinets, molding, drywall, insulation, and siding.
- Sanding, staining, varnishing, and installing fixtures like locks and door handles.
- Repairing or replacing damaged frameworks, structures, and fixtures in residential or commercial buildings.
- Good communication skills and ability to produce wood-working hand drawings.
- Capable of leading a team of experienced carpenters.
- Willing to work overtime to complete projects on time.
- Must be willing to work extra hours or weekends and public holidays if necessary.
- Able to work on hot days under sun.
- Attentive to detail and always alert to ensure safety.
- Able to work hard.
