We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Sales Executive to drive sales growth and deliver an excellent showroom and customer experience for our Hillarys Singapore business. The incumbent will be responsible for managing showroom standards, building and maintaining strong client relationships, converting leads and walk-in customers into sales, and contributing to the company's overall revenue and long-term success.
This role requires strong interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and the ability to understand customer needs in order to recommend suitable solutions that meet both customer expectations and business objectives.

1. Showroom Operations & Housekeeping
- Ensure the showroom is maintained at all times in accordance with company showroom standards, including cleanliness, product displays, and overall presentation.
- Regularly review product layouts and displays to enhance customer experience and support sales activities.
- Ensure all samples, catalogues, and promotional materials are properly organised and up to date.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their requirements and providing professional recommendations.
- Follow up consistently with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the Company's systems.
3. Sales & Business Development
- Convert leads, enquiries, and walk-in customers into confirmed sales.
- Identify customer needs and propose appropriate solutions to meet project requirements and budgets.
- Prepare quotations, follow up on proposals, and close sales in a timely manner.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team and company revenue goals.
4. Product Knowledge & Solution Selling
- Develop a strong understanding of the Company's products and solutions, including features, benefits, and applications.
- Stay informed of market trends, competitors' offerings, and industry developments.
- Effectively communicate product value propositions to customers to achieve mutual satisfaction and long-term relationships.
5. Coordination & Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams such as operations, installation, and finance to ensure smooth order processing and project delivery.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to address customer queries, timelines, and after-sales matters.
- Support management with sales updates, forecasts, and reports when required.
6. Compliance & Professional Conduct
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical standards.
- Represent the Company professionally at all times, both within the showroom and when engaging clients externally.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, retail, showroom, or customer-facing roles (experience in interior solutions, furnishings, construction, or related industries is an advantage).
- Experience handling walk-in customers and lead conversion.
- Prior experience in solution-based or consultative selling is preferred.
