A Day in the Life:
What We Are Looking For:
- Develop creative design concepts and formulate project design packages using CAD, Sketchup and 3D Software
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and mood boards
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure the successful implementation of design plans
- Manage design projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
- Collaborate with the wider design team to deliver cohesive, innovative interior solutions
- Conduct design presentations to prospective buyers to convey design intent
- Review progress on site and be responsible for design quality and experience
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties
What We Are Looking For:
- Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the interior design industry
- Experience in retail store environments and design of retail/corporate fixtures is a plus
- Strong understanding of design principles, design sensibility, and technical ability to develop a project from conceptualisation to execution
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for interior design
