Requirements
Technical Skills
- Manage and lead the IT support function for every department
- Ensure availability and performance of freight forwarding, shipping, and accounting systems
- Provide IT support for shipment documentation, billing, tracking, and reporting
- Act as escalation point for critical IT incidents affecting operations
- Manage system access, security controls, and data protection
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers
- Manage IT assets, software licences, and hardware
- Support staff onboarding/offboarding and user training
- Maintain IT documentation and disaster recovery procedures
- Support IT planning, system upgrades, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant IT support experience, preferably in shipping or freight forwarding
- Strong leadership, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Good understanding of freight forwarding and shipping workflows
Technical Skills
- Freight Forwarding / Shipping Systems (e.g. SysFreight, SAP, or equivalent)
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
- Windows systems and basic server administration
- Networking fundamentals (VPN, LAN, WAN)
- EDI and document management systems
