Business Environment Risks and Compliance Assistant Manager / Manager

The Business Environment Risks and Compliance Manager shallbe responsible for assessing, developing and implementing programs to ensurethat the organization adheres to local and applicable international laws ®ulations, group policies and internal guidelines through policy creations,employee education, monitoring, auditing and reporting to respectiveauthorities and leadership to foster a strong ethics awareness and corporateculture.
  • Policy & Strategy Development: Create, update, and implement risk management frameworks and compliance policies.
  • Risk Assessment & Monitoring: Conductregular risk assessments, identify potential threats, and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Auditing & Reviews: Perform internal audits and reviews to ensure adherence to procedures and standards.
  • Training & Culture: Design and deliver compliance training, and promote a company-wide culture of integrity and ethical conduct.
  • Regulatory Liaisons: Liaise with external regulatory bodies or agencies, stay updated on new laws, and ensure timely reporting.
  • Incident Management: Investigate and resolve compliance breaches and risk incidents, managing follow-up actions.
  • Reporting: Prepare risks assessment and compliance reports for senior management, detailing findings and mitigation strategies.
  • Technology Management: Liaise with IT security manager on risks management software and systems for efficient monitoring and tracking.

Core Focus Areas:
  • Financial Compliance: (e.g., Anti-Money Laundering - AML).
  • Data Privacy: Ensuring adherence to privacy laws.
  • Operational Risks: Managing risks in daily operations.
  • IT & Cybersecurity: Managing IT policies and security risks.
  • Work Health & Safety: Overseeing safety programs and policies.

Job Requirements
  • Tertiary education in relevant fields
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experiences in business environment risk management and compliance
  • Self-motivated individual with a high degree of integrity, drive, and sense of urgency
  • Strong collaboration skills dealing with various stakeholders
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills to convey complex information
  • High level of attention to detail, strong research, and problem-solving abilities
