We are hiring a committed, experienced full-time Secondary Science & Mathematics Tutor who is equally strong in Science and Maths, to teach Secondary 1-4 students up to O-Level.

• Secondary Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology
• Secondary Mathematics: E-Maths & A-Maths
  (Secondary 1 to Secondary 4, O-Level)

Salary

• $3,500 - $4,500/month upon confirmation (based on experience & performance)

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Lesson Delivery

• Deliver structured, engaging lessons aligned with MOE syllabus
• Apply the FAST Learning System to train exam performance
• Break down complex concepts into clear, step-by-step explanations
• Keep lessons interactive, student-focused, and results-driven

Curriculum Planning & Material Preparation

• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, and supporting resources during non-teaching working hours
• Plan and structure lessons in alignment with CLG's teaching frameworks
• Prepare a 52-week lesson plan for each assigned class, covering:
  
  • Topic sequencing
  • Revision cycles
  • Assessment checkpoints
  • Exam preparation timelines
• Update lesson plans based on student progress and exam requirements

3. Academic Support & Progress Tracking

• Track student progress and diagnose learning gaps
• Provide targeted feedback to correct errors effectively
• Prepare concise progress updates for internal tracking and parent communication

4. Parent Communication & Team Collaboration

• Communicate student performance professionally with parents
• Work closely with CLG's teaching team to ensure consistency
• Support Headstart, Bootcamp, and Revision Programs when scheduled

5. Professional Growth & Contribution

• Attend in-house training to master CLG systems
• Contribute to curriculum planning, worksheet design, and team discussions
• Uphold CLG's standards of excellence, mentorship, and professionalism

Candidate Requirements

• Strong, balanced mastery of Science (Phy/Chem/Bio) and Maths (E & A Maths)
• Able to teach Secondary 1-4 confidently
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant teaching/tutoring experience
• Familiar with MOE syllabus and O-Level / NA / Express streams
• Professional, dependable, and committed to long-term growth

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Education, Science, Engineering, or related fields

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates must:

1. Provide references from previous employers
2. Submit a 20-minute teaching demo video
3. Conduct a live demo class

Working Hours (5-Day Work Week)

• Tuesday to Friday: 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM

(Hours may vary slightly during peak exam periods.)
