Job Summary

We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our kitchen team. This role supports daily kitchen operations, focusing on mise en place, pasta plating, and preparation of starters and desserts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mise en place items to support timely food preparation during service
• Plate pasta dishes following kitchen standards to ensure consistent presentation and quality
• Prepare starters and desserts as directed by the Chef to meet menu requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations to uphold hygiene and safety standards
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures to ensure a safe kitchen environment
• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned to support smooth kitchen operations during service

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior kitchen or food preparation experience is an advantage (training provided)
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions to improve kitchen skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude to contribute to a supportive work culture
• Physical fitness to stand for long hours and perform kitchen tasks
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holiday
