Duties and Responsibilities

• Passion for applied learning, creativity, and interdisciplinary teaching
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a student-centred approach
• Deliver engaging History/Social Studies lessons that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
• Develop students' proficiency in History/Social Studies knowledge and critical thinking through
innovative and applied learning approaches
• Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment design, and professional development
• Mentor and guide students as a Form Teacher, fostering a caring and supportive classroom culture (if
needed)
• Contribute to the holistic education of students by supporting co-curricular activities and school events
(if needed)

Job Requirements

1. A good undergraduate degree in the relevant discipline. BA (History/Social Sciences/English Language) preferred
2. A Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from the National Institute of Education (NIE), Diploma in Education from NIE or any other equivalent teaching qualifications is preferred
3. Proficiency in the use of education technology or data analysis will be an advantage
4. Comfortable with classroom and student management
5. Passionate to teach the age group of students from 13 to 16 years old
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
7. Good team player
