Job Summary

As a Multimedia Content Developer / Designer, you will create engaging learning materials aligned with instructional design plans, collaborate with instructional designers to deliver client presentations, and update content within learning management systems to enhance training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging learning materials based on lesson plans provided by Instructional Designers within specified timelines to support training objectives
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers to present deliverables effectively to clients, ensuring alignment with client expectations
• Update and modify multimedia content in Learning Management Systems (LMS) based on client feedback to maintain content relevance and accuracy
• Apply working knowledge of SCORM standards to ensure e-learning content compatibility and compliance
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate, and Spring tools to design and produce multimedia learning assets that enhance learner engagement
• Incorporate basic UI/UX principles to optimize the usability and accessibility of multimedia content
• Create bite-sized videos and infographics to facilitate concise and impactful learning experiences
• Employ education and training applications such as Kahoot!, Padlet, and Mentimeter to support interactive learning sessions
• Manage and maintain basic LMS platforms including WizLearn, Canva, and iLearn to ensure smooth content delivery
• Use Microsoft Office applications to support content development and administrative tasks
• Support HQ services by administering and maintaining IT devices for the division to ensure operational readiness

Required competencies and certifications

• Working knowledge of SCORM requirements to ensure e-learning content standards compliance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or higher qualification in Multimedia Design or related field, or equivalent experience
• Experience in the Training Development sector (preferable but not essential)
• Knowledge of content architecture design to structure learning materials effectively
• Understanding of curriculum design, content development, and training best practices to enhance learning outcomes
• Familiarity with xAPI for advanced learning analytics

• Able to work on-site at SAF camps
