We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lecturer in Graphic Design and Media to join a leading educational institution. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and guide students, contribute to curriculum development, and engage in innovative teaching practices across multiple learning platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Student Development

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to a range of classes, including in-person lectures, tutorials, and online/blended learning.
• Set, administer, and mark assessments, coursework, and examinations while ensuring academic standards.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support skill development and success.
• Advise students on academic performance, career pathways, and further study opportunities.

Programme & Curriculum Development

• Review and enhance programmes to ensure relevance and quality.
• Recommend and develop teaching materials to meet learning outcomes.
• Develop online and blended learning strategies to complement teaching methods.
• Support academic leadership in exploring new programmes, partnerships, and courses.
• Lead modules or programmes and oversee the performance of Associate Lecturers.

Research & Knowledge Exchange

• Maintain expertise in the field of graphic design and media, integrating emerging technologies and trends into teaching.
• Contribute to scholarly activity, curriculum innovation, and knowledge sharing within the school.
• Participate in academic committees and support quality assurance initiatives.

Other Responsibilities

• Represent the school in marketing and outreach events.
• Undertake other projects or duties as assigned by academic leadership.

Requirements

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Media, or a related discipline.
• At least 3-4 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in higher education.
• Experience in module/programme leadership, curriculum development, and administration.
• Strong knowledge of digital technology and e-learning platforms (e.g., Blackboard, LMS).
• Evidence of professional practice and ability to design, deliver, and assess modules.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage students effectively.
• Flexible, forward-looking, and committed to continuing professional development.
• Willingness to work evenings or outside regular hours when required.
