Key Responsibilities

• \tDevelop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

• \tIdentify new business opportunities and manage key accounts in the steel line pipe segment.

• \tLead negotiations for major contracts and ensure competitive pricing strategies.

• \tCollaborate with technical and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients.

• \tMonitor market trends, competitor activities, and provide strategic insights to senior management.

• \tPrepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.

• \tEnsure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in all sales activities.

• \tTravel extensively within Southeast Asia (up to 40-50% of the time) to meet clients, attend industry events, and oversee regional operations.

• \tEstablish and maintain strong client relationships by providing exceptional service, understanding customer needs, and positioning the company as a trusted partner for long-term collaboration.

• \tDevelop client retention strategies and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction to drive repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications & Experience

• \tBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

• \tMinimum 8-10 years of sales experience in steel line pipe or related products for oil and gas applications, with at least 3 years in a regional leadership role.

• \tProven track record in managing large accounts and achieving sales targets.

• \tStrong understanding of pipeline projects and specifications for oil and gas infrastructure.

Skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in Malay language is an added advantage for communication with clients, prospects and vendors.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
