Job Summary
You will assist in managing daily guest laundry and collection counter operations, ensuring accurate processing of garments, maintaining cleanliness, handling payments, and resolving customer issues effectively.
Responsibilities
- Assist the laundry manager in coordinating daily guest laundry and collection counter operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Inspect and tag guest garments and linen for defects, discoloration, and missing accessories to maintain quality standards
- Follow laundry procedures to check, tag, wash, dry, press, and pack guest laundry accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry plant and counter to meet hygiene and safety standards
- Operate the collection counter daily, managing customer transactions and inquiries professionally
- Verify that all payments received are accurate and reconcile them with the daily cashier report to ensure financial accuracy
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, addressing and resolving customer issues promptly and effectively
- Lead customer service efforts to maintain high satisfaction and handle escalated customer concerns
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager to support laundry operations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience working in a laundry environment to understand operational processes
- Proficiency in English for clear verbal and written communication
- Computer skills to manage daily operations and reporting
- Confident and pleasant demeanor with a well-groomed appearance
- Friendly personality with attention to detail and a meticulous work approach
- Willingness to learn hands-on operational processes and work independently
- Ability to operate and manage production to meet production KPIs
