Job Description

We are seeking a Safety Engineer to support the development and implementation of safety engineering and HSE-related activities for oil & gas EPC projects. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and supporting engineering and project teams in delivering safe and compliant project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform safety engineering studies including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, and FERA as required.
• Develop and review safety-related engineering deliverables such as safety philosophies, risk assessments, and safety reports.
• Support engineering design reviews to ensure safety requirements are integrated into project designs.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to address safety-related design and operational risks.
• Review vendor documentation and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Support construction, installation, and commissioning activities from a safety engineering perspective.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, codes, and project HSE requirements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5-10 years of safety engineering experience in oil & gas or EPC projects.
• Strong knowledge of safety engineering principles and risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with international standards and guidelines (API, IEC, ISO, OSHA, etc.).
• Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams.
