Job Description

• Deliver engaging and interactive Chinese lessons in accordance with MOE curriculum for students in the Primary/Secondary level.
• Be observant and responsive to each student's learning pace and level of understanding.
• Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure active participation in class.
• Mark students' work and provide additional support to weaker learners.
• Handle classroom administration and maintain proper student records.
• Establish and maintain good relationships with students and parents.
• Provide term progress reports and updates on students' performance and progress.
• Create and maintain a safe, conducive, and positive learning environment for all students.

Job Requirements:

• A Degree in any discipline (Chinese or Education-related preferred)
• Minimum 2-3 years of Chinese teaching experience
• Must be an engaging teacher who can capture students' attention and make learning enjoyable
• Must have a keen eye for observing students, understanding their learning needs, and adapting lessons accordingly
• Passionate about helping every child learn with confidence
• Comfortable with the use of technology in class (e.g. Smartboard, Laptop, Projector, tablets)
• Classes available on weekdays from 3 pm onwards and weekends from 9 am
• Must be able to commit for one full academic year (2 January - 30 November 2026)
