As the Global Commodity Manager, you will be highly regarded for your technical and commercial knowledge of the commodity's technology, industry and supplier relationships to optimize Jabil's total cost of ownership and continuity of supply for the commodity. You will develop, execute and measure a global sourcing strategy for your commodity to meet Jabil's supply chain management and business goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• \tDemonstrate expertise in assigned commodities and competency in all aspects of the commodity's supply chain management deliverables

• \tDevelop the supply base to meet Jabil's business and supply chain goals and objectives

• \tNegotiate supplier contracts

• \tNegotiate pricing and other business terms and conditions

• \tServe as a point of escalation to leverage executive level supplier relationships in resolving complex commercial and supply chain issues

• \tConducting business reviews with suppliers to manage performance in cost, quality, delivery, and technology alignment. Propose and implement supply chain improvements.

• \tAnalyze market conditions and implement supply chain strategies to assure supply and price competitiveness

• \tResearch, prepare and publish market intelligence reports, alerts and trends

• \tEnsure the supply base adheres to Jabil standards of Corporate Social Responsibilities including but not limited to Environmental, Ethical, Legislative, and Regulatory requirements

• \tMarket Jabil's Supply Chain Management expertise both internally and externally

• \tSet and measure annual commodity strategy deliverables to ensure global supply chain fiscal metric targets are met

• \tDemonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.

• \tEnsure the efficient and timely exchange of knowledge and information within the Jabil Corporation to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• \tBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Management or equivalent practical experience.

• \t7 years of experience managing Semiconductor commodities and Suppliers

• \tExperience in semiconductor manufacturing flow and supply chain management.

• \tExperience managing and negotiating pricing and contracts

• \tStrong communication and leadership skills to assume a knowledge-leader role with cross-functional peers (e.g., Design Engineering, Business, Purchasing) and Customers.

• \tEffective presentation and relationship building skills to influence Customers, Suppliers & Jabil internal stakeholders

• \tAdvanced Excel Skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• \tIn-depth technical and commercial knowledge of Diode & Transistor Semiconductor components and suppliers with over 10 years of experience in the Semiconductor component industry

• \tEstablished knowledge and relationship with Discrete Semiconductor component suppliers

• \tEffective written and verbal communication skills

• \tEffective negotiation skills

• \tEffective problem solver confident in addressing and resolving ambiguous and complex business problems

• \tAbility to effectively present information and respond to Executive level questions from Suppliers, Customers, Jabil's internal stakeholders and the general public

• \tAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

• \tBasic finance (understand and evaluate a Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow statement)
