- Mondays to Thursdays: 7am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
- Fridays: 7am to 4pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Skills
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experince in kitchen operations in a school environment
- Possess minimum PSLE education
- Valid Food Safety and Hygience Certificate Level 3
Key Roles
Daily Duties (During School Term):
- Lesson Support: Organize/prepare ingredients and utensils; support teachers during practical lessons for safety.
- Post-Lesson Cleaning: Wash dishes, stoves, sinks, and workstations; clean all kitchen utensils and appliances; clean the whiteboard; wash and dry kitchen towels; sweep and mop the floor.
- Safety & Security: Ensure all switches and gas taps (workstations and teacher's table) are off after lessons; check for and report faulty equipment.
- Inventory & Resource Management: Support accounting for loaned laptops/chargers; account for resources in the cupboard; check for and report expiring food/low supplies; check food deliveries for errors/damage.
- General: Perform any other duties assigned by the General Office.
Weekly Duties:
- Organize equipment/materials in drawers and cupboards, returning items to labelled locations.
- Maintain first-aid kits and ensure safety posters/signages are in place.
Duties During School Holidays:
- Perform deep cleaning of stoves, refrigerators, all equipment/utensils, dishes/sinks/workstations (checking for clogs/faults), fans, drawers, and cupboards.
- Sweep and mop the floor.
- Check refrigerators for and dispose of expiring food.
Recurring/Cross-Cutting Responsibilities:
- Account for all laptops in the mobile cart and resources in the cupboard.
- Check for and report expiring food items and faulty equipment.
- Clear and dispose of rubbish at the designated area.
- Maintain first-aid kits and safety posters/signages.
- Keep appliances in their respective cupboards after use.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the General Office.
