OXKIDS Learning Centre is inviting experienced and passionate Part-Time Chinese Language Teachers to join our team and deliver high-quality in-person Chinese lessons to students across our centres in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and effective face-to-face Chinese language lessons
• Demonstrate strong familiarity with Chinese language curriculum requirements, assessment formats, and question types
• Develop and customise classroom teaching materials and course content
• Clearly explain vocabulary, sentence structures, comprehension skills, and writing techniques
• Adapt teaching approaches to cater to different learning styles and proficiency levels
• Foster a positive, disciplined, and supportive classroom environment
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively to ensure optimal learning outcomes
• Guide students patiently and empathetically in their Chinese language learning journey
• Encourage students' confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Chinese language teaching experience
• Graduate degree or above
• Strong command of Chinese language pedagogy
• Familiarity with:
  
  • Local Chinese language curriculum
  • Assessment focus areas and marking expectations
• Proven ability to engage students in a physical classroom setting
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Strong classroom management abilities
• Passion for Chinese language education and student development

Remuneration

• Competitive rates: SGD $2800 - $4,500
  (commensurate with qualifications and teaching experience)
