Reports directly to Technical Director, the Presales Consultant combines deep technical knowledge and a keen understanding of how to address critical business needs through ICT Solutions.

Externally, this role works closely with the Sales team to close deals, supporting the team through the full sales process of solution engineering, such as architectural design, solution presentation, standard and customized solution demonstration, customer workshop, proposals development, and work with sales team to answer RFI/RFP as well as project kickoff.

Internally, this role works with the Technical team to ensure smooth transition to post sales implementation. This role also actively engages and collaborates with the product team to provide field product feedback.

A successful candidate must maintain in-depth product knowledge of key ICT products, possess excellent communication skills to deliver presentation, and manage customer requirements to ensure the scope of solution can be delivered.

Responsibilities:

• \tEngage potential and existing clients in order to understand their business, determine technical requirements and define the scope of work needed.

• \tDesign and propose IT turnkey solutions based on client requirements with management team, and present designed solution to clients

• \tObtain and collate feedback and information from a variety of stakeholders including technology partners, project team and technical development team to ensure the technical and financial viability of the proposed turnkey solution.

• \tPrepare and review the commercial aspects of the tenders/ bids and ensure all services are included in the final price to the clients.

• \tDirectly responsible for sales process and ensure proper closure on sales activities.

• \tEnsure all documentation for presales and tender process are in order.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• \tMin. 5 years of presales experience in SME/ enterprise ICT Solution; ideally Windows and/or cloud-based Infrastructure offerings.

• \tGood understanding of enterprise sales processes for ICT solutions.

• \tVery in-depth Knowledge in at least 5 of the following areas: Servers, Storage, Virtualisation solutions (Vmware/HyperV), Containerized Architecture, Microsoft Suite of products, Data protection solution and Cloud solutions

• \tAbility to plan/design/architect cloud solutions which include private/hybrid/public cloud

• \tAbility to communicate technical and business concepts effectively to customer's mid/senior management.

• \tAbility to identify requirements and develop use cases based on customer's business priority.

• \tSelf-motivated and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

• \tDemonstrate problem solving skills.

[Nice to haves]

• \tProfessional knowledge of terminology, trends and concepts of ICT security, network and application products.

• \tSound knowledge of Security, SaaS and PaaS solutions.
