Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced finance leader with a background in the software industry to oversee and drive the financial strategy, governance, and operations of the organization. The ideal candidate is a seasoned finance professional with strong technical expertise, proven leadership at the Finance Director or Controller level, and recognized accounting certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA in Singapore).

Experience with SGX-listed companies or exposure to listing requirements and familiarity with business intelligence tools are advantageous. This role will be pivotal in ensuring financial integrity, strengthening internal controls, and enabling data-driven decision-making to support the company's growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Provide strategic direction and oversight of all financial functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Advise senior management and the board on financial planning, capital structure, and risk management.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate, timely financial statements in compliance with statutory and regulatory standards.
• Manage audits, taxation, and corporate governance processes with a strong focus on accountability and transparency.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to support business growth and profitability.
• Deliver insights and financial analysis to guide key decisions and evaluate performance.

Risk Management & Internal Controls

• Develop and implement robust internal controls, policies, and risk management frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Process Excellence & Digital Transformation

• Drive finance process improvement and automation using ERP systems and modern financial tools.
• Leverage business intelligence solutions (e.g., Power BI) to enhance financial visibility and support informed strategic planning.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the finance team to achieve excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support business growth and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, CA Singapore, or equivalent).
• Minimum 10 years of senior finance leadership experience (Finance Director, Controller, or equivalent).
• Background in the software or technology industry is required.
• Experience with SGX-listed companies or exposure to listing requirements is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics Navision, Oracle NetSuite).
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) is advantageous.
