About the Role

We are seeking a driven and innovative Research & Development (R&D) Executive to support the development of new products for desserts and drinks, including food with high nutritions profile as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct new product development (NPD) to innovate food products in the alternative protein space, leveraging processes.
• Research and evaluate the functionality and application of raw/new materials.
• Perform recipe formulation and optimization to improve taste, texture, mouthfeel, and overall product performance
• Apply food science principles to develop and refine drinks, desserts, and alternative food products
• Plan and conduct consumer acceptance tests and sensory evaluation studies
• Support trials, scale-up, and validation of formulations using relevant food processing technologies
• Document formulations, SOPs, product specifications, and development results
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, and marketing
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Biotechnology, Nutrition, or related fields
• Understanding of ingredient functionality (proteins, fats, lipids, flavours, stabilizers)
• Hands-on experience in this area.
• Passion for food innovation and emerging food trends
