Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to grow wholesale sales and market share.
- Identify new business opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
- Negotiate and finalize deals with key accounts, distributors, and suppliers.
- Set pricing, discounts, and margin strategies to maximize profitability.
Supplier & Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong, long-term relationships with suppliers and key clients.
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate favorable terms.
- Handle major customer accounts and resolve high-level inquiries or issues.
Inventory & Operations Management
- Oversee inventory planning, stock movement, and replenishment.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.
- Monitor product performance, slow-moving stock, and market trends.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, train, and guide the wholesale operations and sales team.
- Set KPIs and performance goals for team members.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and coaching sessions.
Financial Planning & Reporting
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and cost analyses.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and profit margins.
- Present monthly performance reports to senior management.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in wholesale trade, distribution, FMCG, or related industries.
- Proven track record in sales growth, negotiation, and managing wholesale clients.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of wholesale trading processes, pricing strategies, and market dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficient in inventory management and sales forecasting.
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, or inventory software.
