Requirements:
- Lead and manage the accounting team in operational/financial matters and ensure proper and timely closure and consolidation of accounts, financial and management reports for companies within the group.
- Cash flow management, analysis and projections.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, corporate policies and other regulatory requirements.
- Ensure proper internal controls and risk management are in place and adhered to.
- Liaise on all tax, treasury, accounting and reporting requirements.
- Provide advice and support senior management on all financial issues, develop strategies and plans to meet all financial commitments.
Requirements:
- A recognized degree or professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or CPA
- Minimum 6 years of related working experience.
- Experience and knowledge of the shipping and offshore industry is preferred
- Strong understanding of International Accounting Standards/Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Practical experience in group consolidation accounting is preferred
- Working knowledge of Dynamics 365 would be an advantage
- Strong and independent analytical skills and with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
