Research Assistant Position in Protein Quality and Quantity Control Lab

The laboratory of Assistant Professor LIN Zhewang at the Department of Biological Sciences, National University of Singapore (NUS) is seeking a creative and highly motivated individual to discover and understand novel co-translational pathways that determine the fate of newly synthesized proteins and the associated mRNAs.

The main responsibilities of the position include:
1) Undertaking independent research project under the supervision of the PI.
2) Assisting the PI in general lab maintenance and procurement.

Job Requirements

• Degree in chemical biology, life sciences or biomedical disciplines.
• Experiences in cell culture, biochemistry, molecular and cell biology are necessary.
• Prior lab management experiences are preferred.
• Good communication and organization skills.
