Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Project Manager to lead key projects from initiation to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all project activities strictly adhere to Singapore's local codes of practice, statutory requirements, and securing all necessary approvals from relevant authorities (e.g., BCA, URA, LTA, NEA, SCDF, IMDA). With a minimum of 3 years of projectmanagement experience in Singapore, you will be the key liaison between our teams, clients, and government bodies, ensuring compliance, safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, assigning tasks and managing deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Regulatory Compliance & Authority Liaison (Core Focus):

• Interpret and apply relevant Singapore codes of practice (e.g., BCA Approved Documents, SS standards, SCDF Fire Code, URA Master Plan guidelines).
• Manage the entire submission process to local authorities, including preparation, submission, and follow-up for all necessary permits and approvals.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all communications with relevant government agencies and authorities.
• Ensure all site works, designs, and procedures comply with the latest Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and regulations.
• Stay abreast of changes in local laws, regulations, and code requirements that may impact current and future projects.

Stakeholder & Communication Management :

• Manage client expectations and provide regular, clear updates on project status and regulatory milestones.
• Chair project meetings, preparing and distributing minutes and action plans.
• Prepare and present detailed reports for management and stakeholders.

Quality & Safety Assurance :

• Implement and enforce quality control procedures aligned with Singapore standards.
• Champion a safety-first culture, ensuring all project activities meet or exceed Singapore's WSH requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, Architecture.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering projects in Singapore.
• In-depth, practical knowledge of Singapore's regulatory environment and submission processes.
• Experience dealing with BCA, URA, SCDF, LTA, NEA, or other relevant agencies is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of local codes of practice applicable
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software in MS Project and MS Office Suite.

Highly Desirable:

• Specific certifications relevant to Singapore (e.g., BCA Green Mark Manager/ Conquas Manager
• Experience in Design and Build, New Build, A&A Works
• Strong network of contacts within Singapore's relevant government agencies.
