1. Project Planning & Execution
- Lead and oversee ACMV projects from inception to completion
- Develop and manage project schedules, resources, and budgets
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and sub-contractors
- Ensure all works are executed according to drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements
2. Technical & Engineering Oversight
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and technical submissions
- Provide guidance on technical issues and problem-solving on-site
- Ensure system designs comply with standards (VRV/VRF, chilled water, split units)
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of ACMV systems
3. Team Leadership & Supervision
- Lead and supervise Project Engineers, site supervisors, and site teams
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure quality workmanship
- Conduct site inspections and ensure safety compliance (WSH regulations)
4. Financial & Contract Management
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, progress claims, and variation orders
- Control project costs and ensure profitability
- Maintain proper documentation for contracts, claims, and invoicing
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Provide regular project progress reports to management and clients
- Maintain accurate project records, minutes, and correspondence
- Ensure project close-out documentation is complete
Job Requirements
Education
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, M&E, or ACMV
Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years in ACMV / M&E projects, with project management experience
- Experience in commercial, industrial, or residential projects
- Familiar with Singapore building regulations and ACMV standards
Skills & Competencies
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and resource planning
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools
Preferred
- Professional certifications such as PMP or local safety certifications (e.g., BCSS / CSOC)
- Experience handling large-scale or complex ACMV projects
- Knowledge of sustainable HVAC solutions and energy efficiency standards
