- Discharge duties as relevant in the WSH Act, WSH (Workplace Safety and Health (Officers) Regulations and Environmental Public Health Act
- Implement health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Establish, conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and management.
- Coordinate and investigate workplace accidents and incidents, and develop action plans to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide technical advice and support to management and employees on health, safety and wellbeing matters.
- Support of the construction site management in the implementation of the project-specific HSE Program Site (incl. related documents, e.g. Safe Work Procedures)
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of workplace, equipment, and tools to ensure they meet safety standards.
- Maintain records and reports related to health and safety matters.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and regulations and implement necessary changes.
- Build and maintain relationships with relevant regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety, environmental health, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a safety management role.
- Registered WSHO with Ministry of Manpower
- Registered Environmental Control Officer with National Environment Agency
- Knowledge of WSH Act and other related regulations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
