Job Requirements:
- Manage the accounts function, ensuring all accounting procedures comply with accounting principles and standards.
- Ensure timely and accurate capture of revenue and expenses, and posting in the accounting system.
- Prepare and reconcile all assets and liabilities accounts, including accruals.
- Review and analyze project performance against budget and update management accordingly.
- Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and follow up on late payments.
- Ensure timely payment of accounts payable and reimbursements in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet.
- Ensure all accounting books, ledgers, and asset registers are maintained accurately.
- Monitor and reconcile all bank accounts on a timely basis.
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts and ensure positive cash flow.
- Follow through with various parties to reconcile differences for accurate reporting.
- Ensure taxation submissions are completed on time and assist in tax planning and computations.
- Assist with intercompany accounts reconciliation and perform duties for overseas subsidiaries.
- Prepare management report to shareholders
- Lead, mentor, and coach finance team members, reviewing their work to correct errors or discrepancies.
- Motivate employees to promote performance and teamwork within the department.
- Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Handle auditor and tax matters
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in construction/building/fit-out materials industry preferred
