Project & Facility Development
- Lead end-to-end facility development, renovation, and upgrading projects.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, landlords, and authorities to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery.
- Review and approve layouts, designs, and technical plans in line with licensing and safety requirements.
- Identify expansion opportunities, conduct site search, assess feasibility, and negotiate tenancy agreements.
- Liaise with government agencies on licensing, handover, grants, and regulatory approvals.
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee daily facility operations, including preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Manage vendors and service contracts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural).
- Drive energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and cost optimization.
- Develop and implement maintenance policies, standards, and KPIs.
Budgeting & Strategic Planning
- Plan and manage annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
- Track project progress, facility performance, and cost controls.
- Support long-term facility and infrastructure strategy development.
- Represent the department in management and strategic meetings.
Leadership & Governance
- Act as deputy to the Head, ensuring leadership continuity.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the facilities and project team.
- Build succession plans and strengthen internal capabilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth project execution.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, or related discipline.
- 5-8 years of project and facility management experience, including min 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience managing multi-site facilities and large-scale projects.
- Solid knowledge of building codes, safety, licensing, sustainability, and food safety standards.
- Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in early childhood, education, healthcare, or regulated environments is an advantage.
