1. Key Responsibilities of a Safety Coordinator cumSolar Panel Supervisor on Construction Sites

2. Safety Management & Compliance

a. Develop and implement site-specific safetypolicies in line with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and BCAguidelines

b. Ensure compliance with MOM regulations, ISOstandards, and company safety protocols

c. Coordinate with project managers, sitesupervisors, and subcontractors to maintain safe work practices

3. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control

a. Conduct regular risk assessments and identifypotential hazards

b. Recommend and implement corrective andpreventive measures to mitigate risks

c. Monitor high-risk activities such as working atheights, confined spaces, and electrical installations

4. Incident Management

a. Investigate accidents, near-misses, and unsafeconditions

b. Prepare detailed incident reports and follow upon corrective actions

c. Maintain an incident register and ensure timelyreporting to authorities

5. Training & Briefings

a. Lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, andinduction sessions for workers

b. Ensure all workers are trained in relevantsafety procedures and emergency protocols

c. Support upgrading efforts like SEC(K),CoreTrade, and CET certifications

6. Documentation & Audits

a. Maintain safety documentation including:

b. Risk Assessments (RA)

c. Safe Work Procedures (SWP)

d. Permit-to-Work (PTW)

e. Training records and inspection logs

f. Prepare for and assist in MOM/BCA audits andinspections

7. Site Coordination

a. Participate in site coordination meetings toalign safety with project progress

Indian workers
