Dumpling Assistant
Key Responsibilities
1. Dumpling Demonstration (Primary Role)
2. Guest Interaction (Light / As Required)
3. General Support & Housekeeping (During Downtime)
- Work Location: City Hall MRT Working Day:
- Work 6 days per week
- Working Hours: 10am to 4pm or 3pm to 9pm (6 hours only) Basic Salary: $ 1600 - $ 1800
Key Responsibilities
1. Dumpling Demonstration (Primary Role)
- Perform live dumpling wrapping at the open kitchen counter for guests to see.
- Showcase proper dumpling wrapping techniques in a neat, consistent and visually appealing way.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and organised dumpling demonstration station at all times.
- Follow the restaurant's guidelines for handling and disposing of demonstration dumplings (not for actual service).
2. Guest Interaction (Light / As Required)
- Acknowledge guests who are watching the demonstration with friendly body language (smile, nod, basic greetings).
- Answer simple questions about the dumpling-making process when required (training can be provided).
- Work closely with the service team to support the overall guest experience.
3. General Support & Housekeeping (During Downtime)
- Arrange chairs and tables neatly before and after peak meal periods.
- Wipe and reset tables during non-peak hours to maintain cleanliness.
- Assist with simple cleaning and organisation tasks around the dining area and open kitchen.
- Support colleagues and supervisors with ad hoc duties as assigned.
