Role Summary

A key member of the legal and compliance team, responsible for supporting the company in navigating complex legal and regulatory matters across its business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide practical and strategic legal advice to management and business teams on company operations, regulatory exposure, business risks, and compliance matters.
• Advise on products and services to ensure alignment with applicable local laws, regulations, and relevant international legal standards across target jurisdictions.
• Design, build, and continuously improve the company's compliance framework, including drafting and maintaining customer agreements and establishing internal compliance policies and procedures.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, enforcement agencies, and external counsel, and proactively identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks across business processes.
• Provide legal support for commercial transactions, new products or initiatives, customer terms and conditions, vendor and partner engagements, and marketing or promotional materials.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends, and provide timely, actionable legal guidance to support sustainable business growth in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Requirements

• Law degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D.) from the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, or Singapore.
• Strong commercial judgment with the ability to balance regulatory, business, and reputational risks.
• Proven ability to deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice in complex and evolving regulatory environments.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
