Chugai Pharmabody Research Pte. Ltd. ("CPR") was established inSingapore as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd (Chugai), a member of Roche group, in January 2012 and started operations on July 2, 2012. Located at Biopolis in Singapore, it aims to generate new antibody drugs based on Chugai's proprietary antibodyengineering technologies, such as recycling antibody®, sweeping antibody®, bispecific antibody, various Fc engineered antibodies, and other new antibody engineering technologies that are under development.

Position - Research Assistant in Cell Biology and Technology Unit

Job Scope:

• Tool generation - expression vectorconstruction and molecular cloning, protein expression, stable cell linesdevelopment

• Drug screening - ELISA, FACS, cell-basedfunctional assay, confocal microscopy, SDS-PAGE,Western Blotting, qPCR etc.

• Cell culture - Suspension cell culture andadherent cell culture, 3D cell culture models, such as spheroid,organoid, organ slice and organ-on-a-chip

• Lab management

Requirements:

• Degree in Biomedical Science/ Biotechnology/Molecular Biotechnology or a related field with at least 1-2 years of related working experience.

• Familiar with basic laboratory proceduresespecially mammalian cell culture.

• Experience in Molecular Biology, Protein Chemistry, 3D Cell culture, Cell engineering, Flow Cytometry, Confocal Microscopy, NGS analysis and other relevant skills will be an added advantage.

• In vivo sample handling experience is plusbut not necessary.

• Working experience in either industry or academia iswelcome.
