This will be a 3-years renewable contract position based in Jurong West.

Responsibilities:

• Innovate optimization algorithms to solve multi-resource planning problems efficiently (production scheduling, inventory management and production capacity planning)
• Translate research outcomes to practical solutions
• Responsible for scientific research directions and proposals to secure competitive funding

Requirements

• PhD in AI, Computer Science, Operations Research, or other relevant disciplines with emphasis on optimization, machine learning and data-science
• 3 years' experience in research and leadership of R&D projects in the relevant area of expertise
• Possess programming/coding skills in developing optimization and machine learning algorithms
• Understanding of production planning & scheduling domain
• Prolific scientific publications in top journals or conferences
• Experienced in applying optimization algorithms to multi-resource planning problems
• Excellent technical presentation and writing skills
