- Serve as the lead of our "Thailand Desk," responsible for managing and developing our legal business related to Thailand. Provide high-quality legal services to Chinese clients with Thai interests and Thai clients seeking opportunities in China.
- Act as a key legal advisor on cross-border transactions involving Thailand. Go beyond local counsel duties to independently structure, draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements and transactional documents.
- Utilize a systematic, business-oriented approach to actively contribute to and execute the firm's business development and client growth strategy in the Thai market, building client confidence and expanding our presence.
- Work seamlessly with other teams within the firm, contributing to a collaborative culture and supporting cross-border matters that bridge Thai law with other jurisdictions.
II. Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be qualified to practice law in Thailand.
- 10 to 15 years of experience, extensive travel between China and Thailand and Singapore
- Solid and detailed knowledge of Thai legal principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and excellent legal analytical skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a clear drive to build and lead practice.
- Possesses outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to build strong trust with clients and colleagues internally and externally.
- Exhibits exceptional professionalism, integrity, and a strong client-service ethic.
- Demonstrates the adaptability and collaborative attitude necessary to integrate into the firm's culture and grow with the team long-term.
