✨ Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef experienced in Vietnamese cuisine to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing authentic Hanoi-style dishes, maintaining food quality, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring a smooth workflow during service. This role is ideal for someone who has strong culinary skills, good time management, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation & Cooking
  • Prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes such as Phở, appetizers, and beverages.
  • Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portioning according to company standards.
  • Marinate, boil broth, and prepare sauces following recipe guidelines.
  • Ensure freshness and quality of all ingredients.

2. Kitchen Operations
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure compliance with SFA and NEA food safety guidelines.
  • Manage inventory, monitor stock levels, and assist with ordering supplies.
  • Reduce food wastage through proper storage and portion control.

3. Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with service staff to ensure smooth order flow.
  • Train junior staff or kitchen helpers on basic preparation and safety procedures.
  • Support management in planning new menu items or seasonal specials.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably with a Vietnamese cuisine or Asian cooking background.
  • Ability to handle broth preparation, noodle dishes, stir-fry, and appetizers.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
  • Able to work independently and manage high-volume service.
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
  • Positive working attitude, responsibility, and good teamwork.

Preferred

  • Experience in Hanoi-style cooking.
  • Ability to create or refine recipes.
  • Previous experience in F&B outlets, cafés, or hawker-style kitchens.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and basic costing.
