Key Responsibilities
Required Skills & Experience
- Lead end-to-end design and development of REST APIs, including architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical governance.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to software engineers, driving development best practices and high-quality delivery.
- Architect, design, and implement API enablement frameworks, integration solutions, and enterprise-grade API services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align API solutions with broader enterprise architecture strategies.
- Demonstrate expertise across industry patterns, cloud architecture techniques, and integration frameworks on AWS, PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry), and Akamai.
- Oversee and participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and performance tuning.
- Ensure robust, secure, and scalable API implementations with optimal performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 14-18 years of relevant experience in Application Development or in a senior-level Enterprise Architecture role.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java-based REST API development.
- Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, and caching technologies such as Redis or Hazelcast.
- Experience with event-driven messaging services such as Kafka or Solace.
- Deep technical understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, PCF, and Akamai.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams, conducting architectural reviews, and enforcing engineering best practices.
- Ability to guide technical decisions while staying actively involved in coding and solution implementation.
